Organization schema
Also called: Organization structured data
Organization schema is structured data that describes a company or other organization, such as its name, logo, website and profiles, using the schema.org Organization type.
In plain words
You add it as JSON-LD to your home page. It tells search engines who is behind the site.
Google says it has no required properties. It recommends adding the ones that apply to your organization.
Example
The minimal JSON-LD below names a business, its website and its logo. A real page can add more, such as contact details or sameAs profiles.
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Organization",
"name": "Example Bakery",
"url": "https://example.com",
"logo": "https://example.com/logo.png"
}Why it matters for AI search
Google says Organization structured data on your home page can help it understand your organization’s administrative details and tell it apart from others.
Some properties can also influence which logo Google shows in Search results and in your knowledge panel.
