Exporting & Sharing Reports

Why Reports Matter

Reports are how you communicate GEO insights to stakeholders who do not use Bloffee daily. A well-crafted report tells a story about your content performance, shows progress over time, and makes clear recommendations for improvement.

Creating Effective Reports

A good report does more than dump data. It tells a story and guides action. Here's how to create reports that stakeholders actually read and use.

1.
Start with a Summary: Begin every report with an executive summary. In 2-3 sentences, explain the main finding. What is going well? What needs work? What is the recommendation? Busy people read this first and decide if they need the details.
2.
Highlight Changes: If this is not the first report, focus on what changed since last time. Show score improvements, new issues discovered, and actions completed. This proves progress and keeps people engaged.
3.
Use Visuals: Charts and graphs communicate faster than tables of numbers. Bloffee reports include visual score displays. Use them to show trends and comparisons at a glance.
4.
Provide Context: Explain what the scores mean. A score of 65 might be good or bad depending on your industry and goals. Add notes that provide this context so readers understand the significance.
5.
Make Recommendations: End with clear next steps. What should the team work on next? Which pages need urgent attention? Who is responsible? Action items turn reports from informational to actionable.

White Label Reports

Agencies and consultants can customize reports with their own branding. White label features let you present Bloffee data as your own product.

Customization Options

  • Your Logo: Replace Bloffee branding with your company logo
  • Custom Colors: Match report colors to your brand palette
  • Company Name: Show your agency name throughout the report
  • Contact Information: Include your contact details for follow-up
  • Custom Headers/Footers: Add disclaimers or additional information
  • Remove Bloffee References: No mention of Bloffee in client-facing reports

White labeling is available on Business and Enterprise plans. Set up your branding once in Settings, and all future reports automatically use your customization. This saves time and ensures brand consistency across all client deliverables.

Report Best Practices

  • Send reports on a consistent schedule (weekly or monthly)
  • Keep reports focused on 3-5 key insights rather than overwhelming with data
  • Use comparison reports to show competitive positioning
  • Include screenshots or examples when explaining issues
  • Celebrate wins and progress to maintain stakeholder engagement
  • Customize report content based on the audience's technical level

Automated Reporting

Save time by scheduling reports to generate and send automatically. Set it up once and Bloffee handles the rest.

Setting Up Scheduled Reports

Go to Reports, click Create Scheduled Report, and choose your preferences. Select which URLs to include, the report format (PDF or link), frequency (daily, weekly, monthly), and recipients. Bloffee generates and sends reports automatically on your schedule.

Scheduled reports always include the most current data. If scores change between scheduled sends, the report reflects those changes. This keeps stakeholders informed without manual work from you.

Report Templates

Create report templates for different purposes. Have one template for client updates, another for internal team reviews, and a third for executive summaries. Each template can include different URLs, metrics, and formatting.

Templates save time and ensure consistency. Everyone knows what to expect in each type of report. You can modify templates as your reporting needs evolve.

Presentation Tips

When presenting GEO reports in meetings, follow these tips to communicate effectively and drive action.

Tell a Story

Do not just show numbers. Explain what happened, why it matters, and what it means for the business. Connect GEO performance to business outcomes like traffic, leads, or revenue.

Focus on the Audience

Executives want high-level strategy. Marketers want campaign impact. Developers want technical details. Adjust your presentation based on who is in the room.

Use Comparisons

Show comparisons to competitors or past performance. Relative performance is often more meaningful than absolute scores.

End with Actions

Every presentation should conclude with clear next steps. Who will do what by when? Document these commitments and follow up in the next report.

Next Steps

Start creating and sharing reports today. Set up a scheduled monthly report for key stakeholders. Customize a white-label template if you work with clients. Practice presenting in team meetings to build confidence.

Good reporting turns GEO data into business value. It proves your impact, guides strategy, and keeps everyone aligned on optimization goals. Make reporting a regular part of your GEO workflow.
