Your First GEO Analysis

Step-by-step guide to analyzing your content

Before You Start

Running your first GEO analysis is simple. The process takes less than five minutes. You will get instant feedback on your content and clear steps to improve.

This guide walks you through every step. By the end, you will know exactly how to use Bloffee. You will also understand what your results mean and what to do next.

Step 1: Choose Your Page

Start with your most important page. This is usually your homepage, a key landing page, or your best blog post. Choose a page that matters most to your business goals.

Tips for Choosing Your First Page

  • Pick a page with substantial content (at least 500 words)
  • Choose a page you control and can easily update
  • Avoid pages with lots of images and little text
  • Select a page that represents your typical content style

Remember, this is just your starting point. You can analyze as many pages as you want later. The goal is to learn the process and see what good GEO looks like.

Step 2: Access the Analysis Tool

Log into your Bloffee account. Go to the dashboard and find the GEO analysis tool. You will see a simple interface with a URL input field.

What You Will See

1.A large text box for entering your URL

2.An analyze button to start the process

3.Your analysis history showing previous reports

4.Quick links to your saved favorite pages

The interface is designed to be simple. You do not need any technical knowledge to use it. If you can copy and paste a URL, you can run an analysis.

Step 3: Enter Your URL

Copy the full URL of your chosen page. Paste it into the analysis tool input field. Make sure you include the complete URL, including https://.

Good URL Format

https://example.com/blog/article

https://www.example.com/page

https://example.com/products/item

Bad URL Format

example.com/blog (missing protocol)

www.example.com (incomplete URL)

/blog/article (relative path only)

The tool will validate your URL before starting. If something is wrong, you will get a helpful error message. Fix the issue and try again.

Step 4: Start the Analysis

Click the analyze button. The tool will immediately start checking your page. You will see a progress indicator showing what is happening.

What Happens During Analysis

Fetching Content (5-10 seconds)

The tool downloads your webpage and extracts the content.

Analyzing Factors (10-15 seconds)

Each of the 10 GEO factors gets evaluated and scored.

Generating Recommendations (5-10 seconds)

The tool creates specific advice based on your results.

The entire process takes 20 to 35 seconds. Do not close your browser during this time. The tool will automatically show your results when ready.

Step 5: Review Your Results

Your results appear as soon as analysis completes. You will see scores for all 10 GEO factors. Each factor displays a number from 0 to 100.

80-100Excellent Score

Your content performs very well for this factor. Keep up the good work. Minor improvements might still be possible.

60-79Good Score

You are doing well but have room for improvement. Focus on these areas for noticeable gains.

40-59Needs Work

This factor needs attention. Improvements here will significantly boost your overall GEO-Score.

0-39Needs Major Work

This is a weak area that requires immediate attention. These are often the easiest wins because you have the most room to improve.

Do not worry if some scores are low. Most pages have several areas that need work. The important thing is knowing where to focus your efforts.

Common Questions

How long does analysis take?

Most analyses complete in 20 to 35 seconds. Larger pages with more content may take slightly longer. If analysis takes more than one minute, try refreshing and running it again.

Can I analyze password-protected pages?

The tool can only analyze publicly accessible pages. If your page requires a login, the analysis cannot reach it. Make a test version public temporarily or analyze similar public pages.

What if my scores are low?

Low scores are completely normal, especially for your first analysis. This is good news because it means you have lots of room to improve. Follow the recommendations and you will see significant gains.

How often should I run analyses?

Run a new analysis after you implement changes. This shows you how your improvements affected your scores. For ongoing monitoring, weekly or monthly analyses work well.
